Dr. Burge is a computer scientist specializing in human-computer interaction, design thinking, facilitation, and inclusive computing. She studies the intersectionality of race and gender in computing. She served as a co-principal investigator on the student program, leading the implementation for the New York schools (The Young Women’s Leadership Schools of Astoria and of the Bronx).
